You can save plug-in maps as presets for reuse on the same Pro Tools system.Plug-In maps are saved as global preferences on a Pro Tools system, so they are available to all sessions created on the system.When you create a map for a plug-in, that map becomes available to all other plug-ins of the same type and channel format.

If you want to map the same plug-in in different channel formats (such as mono, stereo and 5.1 surround) you need to create a separate plug-in map for each format.You can also export plug-in maps for use on other Pro Tools systems with a similar control surface (see Exporting and Importing Plug-In Maps.2 Choose the map you want to copy from the Map Presets pop-up menu.2 Choose the map you want to rename from the Map Presets pop-up menu.
